Event: How to Be a Dog's Best Friend - A fun, interactive workshop teaching kids how to understand, communicate with, and safely interact with dogs.
For: Children ages 5-12 years - Bring your favorite stuffed dog with you for a hands-on experience!
In this class, children will learn:
What dogs need every day to stay happy and healthy
How to read dog body language and understand what a dog is feeling
How your body language and energy affects dogs
How to safely meet and greet a dog
What to do — and what NOT to do — around dogs
How to be the kind of kid every dog loves to be around
Date: Sunday, April 12, 2026
Time: 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $10 per child paid to Patience's Playland and price includes open play afterwards. No preregistration required.
