Coping through the final life stages and passing of a beloved pet can be a very emotional time, and it can even be more difficult than dog training! You should not have to go through it alone. We are here to support you and be your companion along your grief journey. Services will begin starting March 1, 2026.
Pet grief support is a compassionate space for anyone who has lost a beloved animal (not only dogs), or who is navigating the anticipatory grief that comes with a pet's end-of-life journey.
I am not a therapist or counselor. There are no clinical assessments, diagnoses, or treatment plans here. I am a companion. I want to be with you so you don't have to travel through your grief journey alone.
In a world where pets are family, their loss can be devastating, but pet loss grief is often minimized or misunderstood by others. You may have heard things like "it was just a dog" or "you can always get another one." But the bond you shared was real, the love was real, and the pain you are feeling is just as real. That pain is not something to push through or get over quickly. It is a natural, necessary response to love, and this is a safe, judgment-free place where that is fully understood.
Sometimes you need a space that is just for you. I offer one-on-one sessions for anyone who would like personal, dedicated time to talk through their grief at their own pace.
You decide if you would like your session to be held over the phone or through a video call by Google Meets with the camera on or off, whatever feels most comfortable to you.
During the session, I won't tell you how to feel or give you answers. Instead, I'll listen to you, ask gentle questions, and offer insights that may help you better understand what you're experiencing.
When you book a session, you will be asked to complete a registration form sharing a little about your pet and your grief story. This helps me show up prepared and ready to be fully present for you.

There is something comforting about being surrounded by people going through similar experiences. The Direction for Pet Grief Circle is a small group gathering for those coping with pet grief. Sometimes the most healing thing in the world is simply knowing you are not alone.
Each small group session will meet virtually through Google Meets. We will begin with an open share, where you tell us about your pet, where you are in your journey, and how you're feeling right now. From there, we'll move into a short topic presentation followed by open discussion.
Space is limited to six participants to keep our circle supportive. All are welcome — no matter how recently or how long ago you lost your beloved companion.
