During your First Session, we will:

• Talk through your goals, questions, and any challenges you are experiencing

• Learn more about your dog’s behavior, communication, and personality

• Introduce marker training and effective reinforcement

• Learn how to give clear cues that set your dog up for success

• Work on foundational skills that support good everyday habits

• Address the areas where you need the most help

• Give you practical skills and things to continue to practice at home

• Answer your questions and create a clear direction for what comes next

The First Session is the starting point for all new clients, no matter your training goals or your challenges. All dogs are welcome, regardless of breed, size, age, or temperament.

Already worked with me through private training or group classes? You can skip the First Session and choose Programs or Boost instead.

We can meet in the comfort of your own home, where we can work on the skills you need in your everyday environment. Other options include meeting at my training facility or a nearby public location.

Appointments are available during the day, evenings, and weekends. If you choose to meet at my training facility, please select an appointment on weekdays 6:30 p.m. or later, Saturdays 2 p.m or later, or anytime on Sundays.

My travel radius is within 10 miles of Downingtown Borough Hall (4 West Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335). Training beyond this area may still be available, but an additional travel fee may apply.
